Deputy General Manager – Operations

About the role

Bacha Coffee France is looking for an experienced Deputy General Manager of Operations to drive day‑to‑day performance across its boutique network, coffee rooms and takeaway concepts. Reporting to senior leadership, you will ensure the luxury brand experience is consistently delivered while supporting rapid expansion in the French market.

Key responsibilities

• Lead daily operations of all French boutiques, coffee rooms and takeaway outlets, ensuring efficiency and alignment with global brand standards.
• Monitor operational KPIs, inventory accuracy, cost controls and service quality, taking corrective actions as needed.
• Prepare operational readiness for new store openings, pop‑ups and expansion projects.
• Partner with store leaders to maintain exceptional luxury retail and hospitality experiences for customers.
• Resolve operational escalations and customer service issues promptly and professionally.
• Coach, develop and manage operational and store leadership teams, fostering a high‑performance culture.
• Oversee workforce planning, recruitment, onboarding and training initiatives while ensuring compliance with local labour regulations.
• Coordinate supply‑chain activities, warehouse operations and central kitchen functions to support seamless service delivery.

Required profile

• Proven senior operations or general management experience in retail, hospitality or luxury consumer brands.
• Strong commercial mindset with a track record of driving profitability and operational excellence.
• Demonstrated ability to lead multi‑disciplinary teams and manage large‑scale projects.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to act decisively under pressure.
• Fluency in English; French language proficiency is a plus.
