Data Scientist Internship – Advanced Analytics & AI

About the role

Join Saint Laurent’s Data & AI team as a Data Scientist Intern, supporting business decisions through advanced analytics and AI-driven solutions. You will work on real-world projects that combine internal data with external sources, helping to shape the brand’s digital future.

Key responsibilities

• Collect, clean, and structure internal and external datasets, including web‑scraped and open‑data sources.
• Develop data pipelines and perform feature engineering to create enriched datasets for modeling.
• Conduct exploratory data analysis, support hypothesis testing, and build analytical datasets for model training.
• Participate in designing, training, and evaluating machine learning models for prediction, classification, and recommendation tasks.
• Prototype and explore LLM‑based or agentic AI systems, monitoring performance and iterating improvements.

Required profile

• Master’s student in Data Science, Machine Learning, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Strong Python and SQL programming abilities.
• Solid understanding of machine learning fundamentals.
• Experience with data manipulation libraries such as pandas and scikit‑learn.
• Interest in AI systems, LLMs, and applied machine learning.
• Curious, rigorous, and comfortable handling complex datasets.
