Data Project Manager

About the role

Ayvens is looking for a Data Project Manager in Paris to lead data projects, often spanning several subsidiaries and departments, and to contribute to the digital transformation of its data management organization. The role focuses on the Eden initiative (Enterprise Data Engine), which strengthens data capabilities across the group.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full lifecycle of data projects, from scoping and planning to execution, delivery and post-implementation review.
• Coordinate data engineers, data architects, the security team and business stakeholders to define requirements and priorities.
• Develop detailed project plans, timelines and budgets, monitor progress and manage risks.
• Report project status, issues and dependencies to stakeholders through clear reporting and presentations.
• Facilitate governance and compliance activities such as data quality, security, privacy and regulatory requirements.
• Contribute to improving project management methodologies and data delivery practices.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Management, Engineering or Business Administration.
• 5-10 years of project management experience, ideally in data, analytics or IT transformation environments.
• Proven ability to manage complex, multi-stakeholder projects in multicultural settings.
• Fluent in English; familiarity with SG Group policies is a plus.

Required skills

• Familiarity with Agile or hybrid methods (Scrum, Kanban, PMP).
• Understanding of data platforms, pipelines and governance, on Azure (ADF, Data Bricks).
• Stakeholder management and clear, outcome-focused communication.
