Data Office Director – General Secretary Department

About the role

Servier is seeking a Data Office Director to shape and execute the data strategy for its General Secretary department. Working closely with the Digital and Information Systems Department, you will drive data governance, architecture, and analytics initiatives that support the company’s mission of therapeutic progress.

Key responsibilities

• Define and implement the data strategy and roadmap, managing the data pipeline, prioritisation, and inclusion in the portfolio.
• Oversee the General Secretary’s data project portfolio (BI, AI, etc.) in partnership with the PMO and ensure delivery across group projects.
• Establish data governance aligned with group standards and regulations, monitor data quality, and promote best practices among staff.
• Map current data architecture, design the target architecture, and coordinate integration flows to ensure consistent, high‑quality data.
• Act as the single point of contact between technical and functional stakeholders and represent the department in group data forums.

Required profile

• 5‑10 years of experience in data‑focused roles such as data visualization, data science, data engineering, or data architecture.
• Advanced degree (Master’s or Ph.D.) in Data Science, Computer Science, Business, Life Sciences, or a related quantitative field.
• Proven project‑management experience, preferably using Agile methodologies.
• Strong knowledge of data standards and regulations in the health sector; legal/compliance expertise is a plus.
• Fluency in English.
