Data Analytics Internship

About the role

Pixel Systems is looking for a Data Analytics Intern to support a major logistics partner. You will work remotely, turning messy spreadsheets and disparate database entries into clear, actionable dashboards that help warehouse managers and operations staff make better decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Audit and clean data sets to ensure accuracy and consistency.
• Move and transform information between Excel/Google Sheets and Postgres databases.
• Create and maintain internal dashboards that track inventory levels, system performance, and other operational metrics.
• Document data cleaning procedures and reporting processes for team use.
• Participate in weekly demos to showcase progress to the partner.

Required profile

• High attention to detail and a methodical approach to data validation.
• Self‑discipline to manage time effectively in a fully remote environment.
• Strong communication skills, able to explain findings in plain English.
• Interest in solving real‑world operational problems rather than abstract analysis.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel or Google Sheets (formulas, pivot tables).
• Basic knowledge of SQL, preferably in a Postgres environment.
• Familiarity with data visualization or dashboarding tools.
• Introductory experience with Python or JavaScript for scripting.
• Understanding of version control systems such as GitHub.
