Customer Service Representative

About the role

Orbia, which owns the Netafim precision irrigation business, is looking for a Customer Service Representative based in Meyreuil (near Gardanne), France. The role handles customer enquiries, quotations and orders, follows up complaints and requests, and supports the sales team with commercial relations, including e-commerce accounts and social media leads. The position is on a permanent contract, with remote working possible.

Key responsibilities

• Handle day-to-day customer enquiries by email and telephone in a responsive, proactive and professional way.
• Ensure quotations and orders are processed smoothly, working with Operations, Sales, Finance and Technical departments.
• Follow up customer complaints and specific requests that require the department's involvement.
• Support sales staff by setting up weekly routines covering future irrigation projects, pre-season planning, orders in progress and delivery lead times.
• Support product launches and follow up on outstanding quotations with each sales representative.
• Monitor e-commerce accounts as part of commercial relations.
• Support the sales team with the stock clearance policy (telephone follow-ups, statistical analysis).
• Identify new customers on social media with the sales team.
• Manage projects by strategic priority, coordinating with procurement on the most urgent deadlines.

Required profile

• Fluency in French and business English, as English is used throughout the day.
• At least 3 years' experience in the sales force (field sales).
• Ideally, knowledge of the company's products and solutions and of the needs of different customer types.
• Analytical skills, good interpersonal skills and the ability to work under pressure.
• Sense of responsibility, independence, proactivity and commitment to continuous improvement.
