Cost Architect Governmental Offers

About the role

Airbus Helicopters is seeking a Cost Architect for Governmental Offers to join the Finance Department at its Marignane site. You will be responsible for providing cost inputs to complex customer offers and creating reliable cost references for helicopter platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the focal point for program/business costing quotations and ensure alignment with customer needs.
• Lead and manage the costing activity during the offer process, delivering robust and neutral cost information.
• Prepare cost bases for sales items by reconciling configuration, technical and operational inputs.
• Compile, deliver, and explain costing estimates to stakeholders and maintain knowledge management on cost evolution.
• Support internal customers in cost target settings, negotiation, and harmonisation of costing methods, tools and processes.

Required profile

• Degree or extensive experience in business, design office, procurement, industry or support functions.
• Familiarity with aeronautical data structures in design, configuration and production domains.
• Strong interest in financial aspects and ability to work autonomously within a team.
• Advanced English and mandatory French language skills.

Required skills

• Cost estimation and cost driver analysis.
• Knowledge of helicopter platform costing and government program requirements.
