Corporate Finance Analyst – Montpellier

About the role

We are seeking a Corporate Finance Analyst to join our finance team in Montpellier. The role supports strategic decision‑making by building and maintaining sophisticated financial models and providing analysis for both corporate and project finance initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Build, maintain and enhance corporate financial models, including long‑term business plans, forecasts and valuations.
• Develop and optimise project‑finance models to support investment go/no‑go decisions.
• Deliver transaction‑related modelling such as partial asset disposals, structuring and valuation analysis.
• Perform IRR, NPV, DCF and MOIC analyses, run scenario and sensitivity tests, and bridge assumptions for senior management.
• Collaborate with operational teams to validate financial data and prepare high‑quality materials for shareholders and external stakeholders.
• Translate complex financial concepts for non‑finance audiences.

Required profile

• 2–4 years of experience in Investment Banking, Private Equity, Transaction Services, Financial Advisory or Corporate Finance.
• Proven ability to build financial models from scratch.
• Advanced Excel proficiency with strong expertise in 3‑statement models, DCF, IRR/NPV and sensitivity analysis.
• Strong analytical mindset, business acumen and excellent communication skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑evolving, high‑autonomy environment.
• Good level of English for daily interaction with a London‑based fund.
