About the role

The Mechanical Designer & Simulation Engineer will join the Electronic Engineering department and the Compute Excellence Center, working in a multidisciplinary project team to create the mechanical architecture of embedded electronic devices.

Key responsibilities

Develop detailed mechanical designs for embedded electronic equipment, translating system requirements into robust mechanical solutions.
Conduct mechanical simulations, such as stress and thermal analyses, to validate and optimise the designed components.
Collaborate closely with electronics, software and systems engineers within the multidisciplinary project team to ensure seamless integration of mechanical and electronic subsystems.

Required profile

Hold a university degree in mechanical engineering, mechatronics or a related discipline.
Demonstrated experience in designing mechanical parts for electronic devices, preferably for embedded applications.
Strong ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary environment, communicating technical concepts across engineering domains.
