Component Performance Engineer – FHS Engineering

About the role

Airbus Commercial Aircraft is seeking a Component Performance Engineer to join the FHS‑Component Engineering team in Toulouse. You will act as the primary contact for a set of airlines, delivering timely and high‑quality FHS engineering services while influencing Airbus’ business performance and profitability.

Key responsibilities

• Identify reliability‑critical drivers and apply short, mid and long‑term levers such as GMTBUR claims, repair price challenges, retrofit decisions and SISP/MISP openings.
• Prepare and present regular Technical Performance Reviews for customers and support their daily operational needs.
• Collaborate with worldwide Airbus functions (SMRx, PESC, SOP, SBx) and overseas engineering teams.
• Contribute to the review and optimisation of the program cost base to enhance competitiveness.
• Participate in business development projects and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Experience in system engineering and customer service across multiple ATA chapters and programmes.
• Background in FHS‑C/PbH, component reliability activities, and airline maintenance or MRO operations (a plus).
• Strong stakeholder‑management skills with the ability to influence diverse teams.
