Community & Advocacy Manager

About the role

As the Community & Advocacy Manager at alan, you will be the human voice of the brand across the online spaces where our audience gathers – from Reddit threads to Trustpilot reviews, professional forums, and social media comments. This hands‑on role focuses on authentic engagement, building our own community hubs, and turning satisfied members into vocal advocates.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in relevant Reddit communities, review sites, and professional forums to answer questions and share alan’s value proposition.
• Launch and nurture alan’s own subreddit and other owned community channels.
• Identify and cultivate enthusiastic members and credible creators to become brand advocates.
• Collaborate daily with the SEO/GEO Lead and the senior Organic Social Media Lead to align community activities with broader organic strategy.
• Develop playbooks for the French market and help scale the approach to Belgium, Spain, and Canada.

Required profile

• Strong written communication skills in English and French.
• Experience engaging with online communities, forums, or social platforms in a professional capacity.
• Ability to understand and address diverse health‑related questions from freelancers, HR leaders, retirees, and students.
• Self‑starter attitude with a focus on execution and measurable impact.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Reddit, Trustpilot, LinkedIn, and Meta comment environments.
• Knowledge of SEO fundamentals and organic social best practices.
• Familiarity with health‑insurance or preventive‑care topics is a plus.
