Communication Officer – Higher Education Sector

About the role

We are looking for a dynamic Communication Officer to support the GUS France Group’s schools – SCBS Business School, the School of Tourism, and the School of Design. You will help shape and deliver both internal and external communication strategies across France and internationally.

Key responsibilities

• Define and implement internal and external communication strategies, including media and non‑media plans.
• Develop and manage digital presence: websites, social media, SEO (organic) and SEA (paid).
• Write, edit, and manage web and offline content, producing digital and multimedia assets.
• Lead website redesign and development projects.
• Produce photo and video content, handling shooting and post‑production editing.
• Support marketing and recruitment events such as campaigns, trade shows, forums, and open days.
• Coordinate external providers (web agencies, communication agencies, video producers, printers).
• Monitor emerging technologies and digital trends.
• Provide technical communication support to internal departments and generate regular performance reports.

Required profile

• Master’s degree (Bac +4/5) in Communication Strategy or Marketing.
• Significant experience in a similar communications role.
• Strong command of French with excellent writing and editorial skills; intermediate English.
• Project‑management experience, including specifications, follow‑up, and supplier coordination.
• Knowledge of the competitive business‑school environment is a strong advantage.
