Commercial Controller & Internal Auditor (M/F)

About the role

Wavin Orbia's Building & Infrastructure business is looking for a Commercial Controller & Internal Auditor in Varennes-sur-Allier. The role combines commercial controlling, internal audit and internal control, and sits within an international, professional team with a competitive compensation package.

Key responsibilities

• Commercial controlling: produce and analyse performance indicators such as sales revenue, margins, volumes, product mix and customer profitability; help prepare budgets, forecasts and strategic plans; run variance analyses and support commercial teams in monitoring performance and improving profitability.
• Develop and maintain management dashboards, and analyse the financial impact of pricing policies, promotions and commercial agreements.
• Internal audit and control: contribute to the internal control framework, ensure periodic controls of Finance, Sales, Procurement and Inventory, conduct compliance reviews and identify risks.
• Prepare and coordinate internal and external audits, support Group compliance including SOX controls, and monitor the implementation of audit recommendations.
• Continuous improvement: optimise business processes, take part in cross-functional Finance and Business projects, and contribute to the digitalisation of reporting and control tools.

Required profile

• Master's degree (MSc, Finance, Controlling, Audit or Business School).
• At least 7 years of experience in Controlling, Internal Audit or External Audit.
• Experience in an industrial and/or international environment is highly valued.
• Professional English is essential.

Required skills

• Strong understanding of commercial and financial processes.
• Advanced Excel and reporting tools (Power BI, SAP or equivalent).
• Good understanding of internal control systems; knowledge of SOX environments is a plus.
• A certification in Internal Audit or Internal Control is an advantage.
