Commercial Analyst – EMEA/APAC

About the role

The Commercial Analyst supports the Head of Commercial Costing and Projects in driving profitability, costing excellence and commercial discipline across the business. Acting as a key analytical partner to sales teams, the role provides high‑quality data, financial insights and costing models to inform day‑to‑day commercial decisions and customer negotiations.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare detailed costings for RFQs, tenders and pricing requests, ensuring alignment with the latest standard costs and validated inputs.
• Build, maintain and update customer cost models and pricing structures, supporting sales teams with financial analysis for negotiations.
• Produce profitability reviews across products, customers, market segments and geographic regions, identifying margin erosion drivers and pricing gaps.
• Track and analyse price increases and cost recovery actions, supporting targeted recovery campaigns and aligning with finance on performance reporting.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in commercial or finance roles, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
• University degree in Finance, Economics, Business or a related field.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
