Clinical Scientist – R&D Pharma (Oncology)

About the role

We are seeking a Clinical Scientist to join our Oncology R&D team. You will support clinical medical monitoring and contribute to the design, execution, and analysis of oncology clinical trials.

Key responsibilities

• Provide insights during internal study meetings and investigator interactions.
• Review and interpret pharmacodynamics, pharmacokinetics, efficacy, and safety data.
• Collaborate with the Clinical Development Director to synthesize literature, pre‑clinical data and regulatory guidance.
• Assist in the preparation of study documents such as protocols, investigator brochures, informed consent forms and clinical study reports.
• Work with Medical Monitors and Clinical Operations to address protocol questions from health authorities and ethics committees.
• Participate in site and vendor selection, and maintain relationships with investigators and KOLs.
• Organise advisory boards, data safety monitoring boards and steering committee meetings.
• Lead task‑force initiatives and represent the asset team in governance reviews.

Required profile

• Advanced degree in a scientific discipline (PhD, PharmD, NP, PA or equivalent).
• Experience in oncology within pharma R&D (minimum 3 years).
• Fluent written and spoken English.
