Clinical Research Physician – Oncology

About the role

Lilly is seeking a Clinical Research Physician specialized in oncology to join its global development team. This remote position supports the design, execution, and oversight of late‑phase clinical studies and contributes to the lifecycle of oncology medicines from trial to market.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to develop and maintain draft launch labels and value propositions.
• Design, run, and monitor global clinical trials, ensuring compliance with FDA, ICH, and CPMP regulations.
• Prepare protocol documents, study reports, and data dissemination materials.
• Review scientific publications, support labeling updates, and assist with pricing, reimbursement, and market access documentation.
• Report adverse events according to patient‑safety standards and engage with regulatory agencies and external thought leaders.
• Serve as a scientific resource for study teams and contribute to business‑unit and global product strategy.

Required profile

• Medical degree with board certification in oncology or related specialty.
• Extensive clinical experience and familiarity with late‑phase drug development.
• Strong understanding of regulatory requirements (FDA, ICH, CPMP) and Good Clinical Practice.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively in a global, multidisciplinary environment.
