Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) – Paris

About the role

We are seeking a senior leader to define and execute our global cybersecurity strategy, aligning security initiatives with business growth objectives. The role reports to executive leadership and oversees all aspects of information security across multiple geographies.

Key responsibilities

• Define and implement a worldwide cybersecurity strategy that supports business goals.
• Establish and maintain an enterprise‑wide security governance framework, including policies, standards, and controls.
• Lead cyber risk management, ensuring risks are identified, assessed, mitigated, and reported.
• Ensure compliance with GDPR, other data‑protection regulations, and industry best practices.
• Oversee security operations, incident response, cyber‑crisis management, and business continuity from a security perspective.
• Drive security awareness programs and foster a strong security culture.
• Manage third‑party and supply‑chain security risks.
• Act as a trusted advisor to senior executives on emerging threats and security matters.
• Support business development, client engagements, audits, and security due‑diligence activities.
• Lead, develop, and mentor a global cybersecurity team while managing budgets and performance metrics.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Information Security, Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 10 years of cybersecurity experience, including leadership roles in complex international environments.
• Deep expertise in security governance, risk management, security operations, compliance, and data‑privacy regulations (including GDPR).
• Proven track record managing major security incidents, cyber crises, and transformation initiatives.
• Strong business acumen with the ability to deliver pragmatic, risk‑based solutions.
• Experience leading multicultural, geographically distributed teams.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills, especially with senior executives.
• Background in consulting, technology services, or professional services is a strong asset.
• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA or equivalent are preferred.
• Fluent in English and French.
