Chargé(e) de communication éditoriale et de vulgarisation scientifique

About the role

We are looking for a Communication Editorial and Scientific Popularization Officer to join the Communication Delegation of Télécom Paris. The role supports the school’s mission to showcase its research, programmes and innovation ecosystem at national and international levels.

Key responsibilities

• Define editorial priorities for research communication in line with the school’s communication strategy.
• Identify high‑potential scientific topics in collaboration with research directors and laboratories (LTCI, I3, CREST).
• Write articles, portraits, dossiers, interviews and other popular‑science content for the website, newsletters, social media and institutional publications.
• Design innovative editorial formats such as podcasts, videos, article series, infographics and newsletters to amplify research impact.
• Produce institutional editorial materials including brochures, welcome booklets, press dossiers and social‑media posts.

Required profile

• Minimum five years of experience in a similar role within a research institute, scientific organization or higher‑education setting.
• Strong ability to translate complex digital‑technology topics (AI, cybersecurity, networks, data science, quantum, electronics, digital economy) into clear, engaging language.
• Fluent scientific and everyday English.
• Proficiency with digital tools and generative‑AI applications.

Required skills

• Advanced editorial writing and storytelling.
• Content creation for web, social media and print.
• Multimedia production (podcast, video, infographic).
