Chargé(e) d'accueil et d'intégration des étudiants internationaux

About the role

This position supports the international student community at a university in Lyon. The role combines communication, event coordination, and tutoring to help newcomers feel welcomed and integrated throughout the academic semester.

Key responsibilities

• Promote international welcome initiatives on social media (e.g., Instagram) and create visual content using Canva.
• Assist in organizing orientation meetings, International Days, and monthly integration events, including evening availability.
• Manage the Buddy System mentorship network and lead language‑exchange workshops.
• Conduct methodological tutoring sessions to familiarize students with university resources.
• Guide students toward health, inclusion, and prevention services.
• Support logistical preparation and on‑site accompaniment for short‑term programs such as Winter and Summer Schools.

Required profile

• Fluent in English (C1 level) and French.
• Current enrollment in a Bac+3 program or equivalent.
• Familiarity with university structures, student associations, and the city of Lyon.
• Strong interpersonal skills, responsibility, creativity, and openness.
• Availability from late August to mid‑July (or until April for a final‑year internship) for 8‑10 hours per week, including evenings.
