Business Digital Leader – Strategic Sourcing Solutions

About the role

Airbus Commercial Aircraft is seeking a Business Digital Leader to drive the design, deployment and continuous improvement of strategic sourcing and contract lifecycle digital solutions. You will join the Global Center of Competence for Procurement and Supply Chain, supporting a community of roughly 4,000 employees across Airbus.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end deployment of digital solutions tailored to commodity‑specific sourcing needs.
• Collaborate with DOP Digital IT teams to define functional and technical architecture while preserving data and process integrity.
• Own the overall solution architecture of digital products and contribute to the digital strategy and roadmap.
• Maintain a technology watch on SaaS, Cloud, AI and automation trends, recommending integrations that enhance business processes and user experience.
• Evaluate AI use cases across divisions and help build AI‑enabled buyer experiences.
• Ensure delivery on time, within budget and to quality standards, providing ongoing support and enhancements.

Required profile

• Proven experience in digital procurement or strategic sourcing transformation.
• Strong stakeholder management and ability to work across multiple business units.
• Analytical mindset with a focus on process optimisation and data‑driven decision making.
• Excellent communication skills in English; additional language proficiency is a plus.
