Business Development Manager – Semi Trucks

About the role

Tesla is looking for a Business Development Manager to grow and sustain relationships with customers deploying the Tesla Semi truck in France. You will act as the primary liaison between fleet operators, site managers, and internal teams to ensure successful vehicle and charging infrastructure roll‑outs.

Key responsibilities

• Manage individual fleet accounts and associated sites.
• Identify and convert leads into sales contracts.
• Evaluate customer requirements to confirm operational fit of the Semi.
• Provide and convey vehicle and charging specifications to customers.
• Coordinate with infrastructure teams to ensure site and utility readiness.
• Relay customer requests and feedback to program and engineering teams.
• Lead sales contract negotiations.
• Deliver market and customer insights to support Tesla’s Semi growth strategy.

Required profile

• 4+ years of experience in fleet management, commercial vehicle sales, or industry leadership.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for presentations to senior managers, executives, and government officials.
• Self‑starter capable of handling multiple projects with minimal direction.
• Ability to thrive in a complex, fast‑paced environment.
• Proven ability to build and maintain relationships across engineering, production, supply chain, and service functions.
• Proficiency with analytical and presentation tools such as Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote, Project, Confluence, and JIRA.
