Business Auditor – Internal Audit & Control

About the role

Airbus Helicopters is seeking a Business Auditor to join its Quality and Business Audits department in Marignane, France. The role supports the company’s risk‑management and continuous‑improvement agenda by providing independent assurance on process compliance and efficiency across the helicopter manufacturing business.

Key responsibilities

• Define audit scope, select appropriate testing methodologies and plan resources for each engagement.
• Conduct fieldwork, collect evidence and evaluate controls against internal policies and regulatory requirements.
• Prepare audit reports with clear conclusions, recommendations and action plans, and present findings to senior management.
• Support root‑cause analysis, monitor corrective‑action implementation and verify closure of audit issues.
• Drive the deployment and maturity of the Internal Control System, including control mapping, risk identification and second‑line testing.
• Collaborate with business units and other Airbus divisions to promote a culture of risk awareness and control ownership.

Required profile

• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to assess complex processes and identify improvement opportunities.
• Excellent communication skills to engage stakeholders, present findings and influence decision‑making.
• Experience in internal audit, internal control testing or risk management, preferably in an industrial or aerospace environment.
• Fluency in English; French is a plus.
