About the role
Maison Margiela is seeking a Brand Copywriter to shape and maintain the house’s distinctive voice across all communication channels. Based in Paris, you will work closely with creative, marketing and product teams to craft compelling narratives that reflect the brand’s avant‑garde heritage.
Key responsibilities
- Develop, write and refine copy for product descriptions, campaigns, digital platforms, exhibitions, publications and commercial communications.
- Safeguard and evolve the Maison’s creative language, ensuring consistency with house codes, archival references and seasonal intentions across markets.
- Interpret creative direction, collections and brand concepts into precise, culturally sensitive written narratives.
- Collaborate with Studio, Merchandising, Marketing and regional teams to align storytelling, language and execution.
- Contribute to seasonal story framing, product naming and brand initiatives from concept to public release.
- Support press and communication materials through briefing, editing and narrative alignment.
- Act as the reference point for brand language, reviewing copy for clarity and adherence to tone of voice.
- Manage copy‑related budgets, forecast costs and monitor external production expenses.
Required profile
- Minimum three years of experience in copywriting or brand writing within the fashion or luxury sector.
- Solution‑driven mindset with strong teamwork abilities.
- Excellent command of English; ability to work in a multicultural environment.
