Base Manager – Ground Operations (Morocco)

About the role

The Ground Operations Base Manager will oversee Ryanair's Moroccan bases, ensuring compliance with all operational, safety and administrative procedures. This senior position reports to the General Manager and works closely with airport authorities, ground handling agencies and internal departments.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations at Ryanair bases and airports within the assigned region.
• Ensure base set‑up and ongoing compliance with Ryanair ground operational and administrative procedures.
• Maintain infrastructural, contractual and performance standards in line with safety regulations.
• Drive punctuality, customer service and cost‑efficiency targets.
• Liaise with airport authorities and ground handling partners to guarantee safe, efficient operations.
• Develop and implement programmes for policy changes, legislative updates and traffic capacity adjustments.
• Participate in AOC and User Committees and chair weekly base meetings, issuing minutes and action points.
• Report operational issues to Flight Operations, In‑flight and Engineering teams and provide practical assistance.
• Visit and approve potential new bases and airports in collaboration with the Commercial department.
• Manage invoice approval, contract negotiations and support the General Manager on various projects.

Required profile

• Proven experience in a fast‑paced, high‑growth environment.
• Ability to prioritize multiple projects and work independently.
• Fluent English; a second European language is a plus.
• Strong administration skills and advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Excellent communication, presentation and influencing abilities.
• Problem‑solving and troubleshooting expertise.
• Flexibility to travel and adapt quickly to change.
