Backend Software Engineer - Product Engineering

About the role

Join a global R&D organization of over 1,000 engineers and work within a small, focused Product Engineering team. You will design, build, and evolve high‑performance backend services that handle billions of requests daily.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain business‑critical APIs and backend components at massive scale.
• Own a key product component from architecture through deployment and long‑term evolution.
• Collaborate with Product and Program Management to create robust, business‑aligned architectures.
• Work with multicultural R&D teams to ensure seamless integration across the ecosystem.
• Continuously deliver code using modern CI/CD practices for reliability and fast feedback.
• Contribute to an engineering culture centered on craftsmanship, inclusion, and quality.
• Share insights from the tech community to adopt state‑of‑the‑art frameworks, testing strategies, and observability tools.

Required profile

• Passionate backend engineer with a strong interest in large‑scale systems.
• Minimum 4 years of experience building and evolving complex production systems.
• Comfortable with object‑oriented programming and writing clean, reusable code.
• Curious, proactive, and able to lead small initiatives.
• Team‑player with a “can‑do” mindset and experience in Agile environments.
