Backend Developer Internship

About the role

Join Betclic’s tech team as a Backend Developer Intern, working within an autonomous squad on hyper‑personalisation and AI projects. You will contribute to the full lifecycle of features, from design and development to production monitoring on AWS.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in technical design and performance optimisation of backend tools.
• Contribute to production releases and ensure smooth platform operation.
• Help improve code quality and support continuous integration pipelines.

Required profile

• Currently pursuing a Master’s degree in software development.
• Initial experience with Java/Cloud environments through internships or academic projects.
• Strong curiosity for personal tech projects and a good understanding of the build chain.
• Fluent in English.

Required skills

• Programming languages: Rust, Typescript.
• CI/CD tools: GitHub Actions, Terraform.
• Cloud services: AWS (Fargate, Lambda, DynamoDB, ALB, Kinesis, S3, SNS, SQS).
• Version control: Git.
• Development tools: IntelliJ, Visual Studio.
• Additional technologies: Angular, Docker, Localstack.
