Avionics Certification Qualification Engineer (M/F)

About the role

Join Airbus Helicopters in Marignane as an Avionics Certification Qualification Engineer. You will work on the Helionix core avionics suite, ensuring that our helicopters meet all airworthiness requirements and maintain the highest safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Manage compliance demonstration activities and track progress against certification milestones.
• Report on activity status, resolve critical issues, and ensure timely completion.
• Coordinate with the change‑board process to integrate design modifications.
• Contribute to certification steps for Helionix‑equipped programs such as H135, H145, H160 and H175.
• Identify and define the applicable certification basis (airworthiness and OSD) and critical requirement items.
• Develop certification logic, create certification programs, and review compliance demonstrations.
• Support delivery schedules, offer preparation, and liaison with aviation authorities (EASA, FAA, DGA).

Required profile

• Engineering degree in aerospace, avionics or a related field.
• Experience with aircraft certification and qualification processes.
• Familiarity with European (EASA) and US (FAA) airworthiness regulations.
• Ability to work closely with design teams, support services and regulatory bodies.
