Autopilot Testing Engineer – Toulouse

About the role

Join Airbus Commercial Aircraft in Toulouse as an Autopilot Testing Engineer. You will work within the Flight and Integration Tests centre, contributing to the integration, validation and continuous improvement of autopilot systems across all Airbus programmes.

Key responsibilities

• Define test strategies, design detailed test procedures and measurement plans for virtual, bench and ground tests.
• Execute and monitor test campaigns, including real‑time telemetry analysis during flight tests.
• Validate measurements, verify results and secure experimental flight approvals.
• Document anomalies, report test outcomes and collaborate with the Design Office to raise integration maturity.
• Drive digital innovation in testing through automation, big‑data analytics and new test‑means strategies.

Required profile

• Degree in Aeronautics or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in testing, flight mechanics or related engineering activities.
• Strong analytical mindset, proactive attitude and good communication skills.
• Fluent English (advanced) and intermediate French.
