Associate Director Marketing (France)

About the role

Santen, a global leader in eye health, is seeking an Associate Director Marketing to shape and execute the French brand strategy for its Dry Eye and Glaucoma portfolio. You will drive long‑term value creation, align with EMEA leadership, and act as a strategic partner to General Management.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the cross‑functional development and implementation of the French annual brand/therapeutic area plan, aligned with EMEA strategy.
• Own French marketing strategy, portfolio prioritisation, and provide strategic recommendations to the Country Leadership Team.
• Anticipate market trends, define 3–5‑year franchise strategy, and represent France in EMEA strategic discussions.
• Collaborate with agency partners to design multichannel campaigns tailored to target customer profiles.
• Engage with key opinion leaders, patient groups, and healthcare organisations to monitor developments and deliver projects.
• Ensure strong Santen presence at congresses and events, coordinating with Medical Affairs for promotional and educational activities.
• Localise EMEA marketing campaigns, work with sales and training teams to roll out initiatives, and track commercial performance metrics.

Required profile

• Senior marketing professional with extensive brand and portfolio management experience.
• Proven ability to develop and execute market‑shaping strategies in a regulated healthcare environment.
• Strong strategic thinking, cross‑functional leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience influencing regional discussions and representing a market in global initiatives.
