Associate Compliance Specialist – Restricted Products (NL & BE)

About the role

Amazon’s Legal department is seeking an Associate Compliance Specialist to focus on restricted products for the Netherlands and Belgium markets. The role involves researching complex regulations, advising internal teams, and ensuring that products sold on Amazon’s EU sites meet legal and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Determine product availability by assessing legal and safety restrictions.
• Engage with regulators and respond to inquiries regarding Amazon‑listed products.
• Collaborate with business and operations teams to design and implement compliance controls.
• Monitor regulatory developments across the EU, particularly in NL and BE.
• Resolve complex compliance issues and manage escalations involving multiple stakeholders.
• Handle escalated selling‑partner appeals and internal requests to improve compliance processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree.
• Fluent written and spoken French.
• Strong organizational skills, self‑motivation, and ability to work both independently and in a fast‑paced team.
• Excellent judgment, curiosity, and a cooperative attitude.

Required skills

• Legal research ability in NL/BE, EU, and international regulations.
