Assistant / Assistante de Service Social (H/F)

About the role

The Social Service Assistant works within SNCF Optim'Services to create conditions that enable individuals, families, and groups to actively participate in their own development and strengthen social ties in their communities. The role focuses on improving overall well‑being and supporting autonomy.

Key responsibilities

• Improve social, health, family, economic, cultural and professional conditions for clients.
• Develop clients' capacities to maintain or restore autonomy and facilitate their integration into society.
• Lead actions that prevent or overcome personal and professional difficulties.
• Contribute to preventive measures during key life and career stages.
• Implement and develop the organisation’s social action policy.
• Ensure appropriate allocation and follow‑up of social benefits after evaluation, supporting employees, retirees and their families.
• Mitigate the impact of family events on professional activity and vice‑versa.

Required profile

• State diploma of Assistant of Social Service (DEASS).
• Strong listening, communication, argumentation and negotiation abilities.
• Analytical and synthesis skills, tolerance, self‑reflection and rigor.
• Critical thinking, creativity, ability to work in collaboration and autonomously.
