Apprentice Legal Counsel – Commercial Law

About the role

Join Accor’s legal team as an Apprentice Legal Counsel focused on commercial law. You will support the Group’s commercial strategy, ensure compliance with evolving regulations, and help protect the company’s reputation and assets.

Key responsibilities

• Secure and enable strategic commercial agreements.
• Support the deployment of the Group’s commercial, business and sales strategy.
• Prevent, navigate and resolve legal issues related to contracts and competition.
• Monitor regulatory developments in the hotel sector and propose proactive measures.
• Provide training to business teams on new legal or regulatory changes.
• Conduct legal watch activities and prepare regular summaries and alerts.
• Assist teams in relationships with authorities (e.g., DDPP, DGCCRF, EU Commission).
• Support the use of digital tools such as the Global Contracting Policy.
• Draft and update contract templates in line with the Group’s Global Contract Policy.
• Perform any other tasks necessary to protect the Group’s reputation and assets.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in contract, distribution, competition, economic or international business law, preferably with a double curriculum.
• Experience in international business law, competition, distribution and general commercial law, including pre‑litigation and contractual negotiation.
• Fluent English with strong drafting, written and oral communication skills.
• Methodical organization, project‑management ability and strong business acumen.
• Awareness of compliance matters such as data protection, anti‑corruption, sanctions, duty of vigilance and competition law.
• Curiosity and capacity to understand sector‑specific regulations.
• Technology‑savvy with a good understanding of information systems and advanced technologies.
