Aircraft Control Multi-System Architect

About the role

Airbus Commercial Aircraft is seeking an Aircraft Control Multi-System Architect to join its Aircraft Control domain in Toulouse, France. You will work within the Control and Operations Architecture team to define and develop system architectures that meet safety, quality, and performance requirements for current and future aircraft.

Key responsibilities

• Lead technical projects and manage the aircraft control perimeter, coordinating with cross‑disciplinary product interfaces.
• Define and validate multi‑system architectures for aircraft control, making strategic choices and leading technical trades.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate technical risks and opportunities.
• Optimize control products and processes by sharing knowledge across engineering projects.
• Enhance safety of control products for existing programs and next‑generation research projects.

Required profile

• Significant experience in aircraft and systems development, especially avionic and flight control systems.
• Strong ability to develop functional approaches at the aircraft level and evaluate complex multi‑system architectures.
• Proven leadership skills to drive technical projects and collaborate effectively.
• Fluent English (negotiation level).
