Agent de nettoyage (F/H) – Lyon

About the role

The municipality is looking for a dedicated cleaning agent to maintain the hygiene and cleanliness of school facilities in Lyon. You will work under the supervision of the site manager, ensuring both indoor and outdoor areas meet health and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Clean and disinfect classrooms, gyms, corridors, and covered courtyards using manual or mechanised methods.
• Maintain outdoor spaces such as schoolyards, playgrounds, and walkways by regular sweeping, waste collection, and removal of bulky items.
• Perform routine weed control, trimming, and other landscaping tasks safely.
• Assist with internal logistics, including moving furniture and supporting metal‑working operations.
• Participate in specific tasks such as snow removal, floor stripping during holidays, and handling deliveries of supplies.

Required profile

• Respect for hygiene, cleanliness, and safety regulations.
• Punctual, dynamic, and rigorous with a strong sense of public service.
• Physically capable of handling heavy loads and using cleaning equipment.
• Possession of a valid Category B driving licence.

Required skills

• Operation of cleaning carts (chariot de lavage).
• Use of mono‑brush machines.
• Handling of automatic floor‑scrubbing machines (auto‑laveuse).

What we offer

• Full‑time schedule: 37.5 hours per week, Monday‑Friday 6:00‑13:30.
• Salary starting at €2,030 gross per month, plus bonuses.
• 25 days of annual leave plus 15 RTT days.
