Advanced Software Developer – ISAMI Structural Analysis

About the role

Airbus Commercial Aircraft is seeking an Advanced Software Developer to join the ISAMI Structural Analysis Solutions team in Toulouse. You will work on the ISAMI framework that supports aircraft sizing and certification, contributing to high‑performance C++ and Python code while modernising legacy components.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain modern C++ and Python software for stress and certification processes.
• Refactor legacy codebases, including Fortran modules, to meet high‑performance standards.
• Automate simulation workflows and ensure data continuity across airframe engineering processes.
• Support the definition of next‑generation sizing methods with multidisciplinary integration.
• Monitor subcontractor deliverables to guarantee technical quality and schedule adherence.

Required profile

• Proven experience in scientific or aerospace software development.
• Strong background in structural engineering, particularly aerospace stress analysis.
• Hands‑on expertise with modern C++ development and clean, maintainable Python applications.
