Administrateur Système et Sécurité (H/F)

About the role

Thales is looking for a System and Security Administrator to join its Carquefou site, near Nantes. You will support critical information systems for customers and help drive secure digital transformation.

Key responsibilities

• Install, configure and administer Linux (Ubuntu, CentOS, Debian) and Windows Server operating systems.
• Deploy and manage virtualized infrastructures using VMware, Hyper‑V and Proxmox.
• Handle backup solutions and set up performance monitoring with tools such as Nagios, Zabbix, PPRTG, Prometheus and Grafana.
• Validate new tool installations, integrate them into production environments and ensure operational security (MCO, MCS).
• Manage security policies, patch management, antivirus, vulnerability analysis and compliance checks.
• Track incidents, problems, service requests and change requests.
• Contribute to automation, scalability and remediation of the IT environment.
• Produce administration, operation and knowledge‑base documentation, as well as study notes and presentation materials.

Required profile

• Master’s degree (BAC+5) in Computer Science or related engineering field.
• Significant first‑hand experience as a Systems Administrator in secured environments.

Required skills

• Linux system administration (Ubuntu, CentOS, Debian).
• Windows Server administration.
• Virtualization platforms: VMware, Hyper‑V, Proxmox.
• Cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, GCP, OVH, Cloud Temple.
• Monitoring tools: Nagios, Zabbix, PPRTG, Prometheus, Grafana.
• Patch management, antivirus, vulnerability analysis, compliance control.
• Incident, problem, request and change management (MCO/MCS).
• Familiarity with SCCM and related Microsoft tools.
