Acoustics Testing & Interior Noise Data Engineer

About the role

Airbus Commercial Aircraft seeks an Acoustic Testing & Analysis Engineer to join the Flight Test Analyst team in Toulouse. You will support acoustic testing across ground, flight and lab environments, driving data analytics, AI integration and signal processing to ensure certification, passenger comfort and defect‑free deliveries.

Key responsibilities

• Map acoustic data sources and support the digital/data strategy, including AI ecosystem integration for pattern recognition and auto‑diagnostics.
• Define, prepare and support flight and ground test procedures, handling acoustic instrumentation, metrology and test methods.
• Post‑process and validate test data using advanced signal‑processing techniques and produce technical reports for R&T, cabin intelligibility and production.
• Perform data analytics, statistical correlations and automation to build predictive acoustic/vibration models.
• Conduct cross‑functional investigations with design offices, suppliers and delivery centres for noise and vibration troubleshooting and certification support.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Acoustics, Vibration or related engineering discipline with an experimental focus.
• Technical expertise in signal and data processing, big‑data management and statistical methods.
• Proficiency in Python programming for data analytics and automation.
• Familiarity with acoustic instrumentation, hardware (microphones, acquisition systems, audio gear) and metrology.
• Advanced English proficiency; French is a plus; basic project‑management and strong autonomy.
