Accountant – Core & Operational Finance

About the role

As a member of the Finance Department, you will manage core accounting activities that keep the company’s financial records accurate and compliant. You will work closely with the Head of Finance to support month‑end closings, reporting, and budgeting processes.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and post journal entries, maintaining the general ledger.
• Reconcile balance‑sheet and bank accounts, investigating discrepancies.
• Assist in monthly and year‑end closing, producing financial statements.
• Contribute to the preparation of quarterly and annual financial reports in line with local accounting standards and IFRS.
• Support budget preparation, financial forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Participate in internal control testing and audit activities.

Required profile

• Relevant accounting qualification or degree.
• Experience with general ledger maintenance and account reconciliations.
• Understanding of IFRS and local accounting principles.
• Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail.
