Account Executive, Mid-Market (Paris)

About the role

Figma is looking for an Account Executive, Mid-Market to drive sales and maximize revenue with its customers. You will target, build and nurture relationships with key decision-makers, understand complex business needs and deliver solutions across the product suite. The role is full-time in the Paris office, in a hybrid environment.

Key responsibilities

• Create and manage a pipeline of mid-market accounts, from inbound and outbound activity to meeting or exceeding sales targets
• Use discovery and value-selling techniques to build relationships with key decision-makers in new and existing customers (500-5,000 FTEs)
• Align with executives on business challenges and secure sponsorship for enterprise-wide deployments, showing where Figma's roadmap fits the long term
• Analyse accounts to create account plans outlining priorities and initiatives, and multi-thread at senior level to expand opportunities
• Manage a book of business by tiering accounts and taking steps to reduce contractions
• Work with cross-functional partners to position Figma, drive deals forward and ensure customer success
• Advance executive-level relationships through in-person meetings and networking

Required profile

• Years of experience closing sales for a software or SaaS business with a book of customers under 5,000 FTEs, selling to executives
• Consistently meeting pipeline generation targets for net new business
• Demonstrated experience managing complex sales cycles of 3-9 months
• A sales methodology and process that creates value for customers
• Fluency in French

It is an added plus to have experience selling solutions to technical audiences at executive level, to have succeeded in a changing environment, and to be certified in deal qualification and prospect discovery. Candidates whose past experience does not match perfectly are encouraged to apply.
