About the role

The Association Hospitalière de Bretagne (AHB) is looking for Educational and Social Support Workers (AES or AMP) to join its specialised residential unit “Le Petit Clos” in Loudéac. The position can be full‑time or part‑time and is intended for the summer period, with the possibility of extension until September 2026. The unit cares for adult residents with severe Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD) who require high levels of support.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to design and implement individualized support plans.
• Apply structured educational methods such as ABA, TEACCH and PECS to promote communication and daily living skills.
• Conduct functional evaluations and adapt interventions to each resident’s needs, rights and preferences.
• Participate in the use of specialised facilities, including a motor‑skills room, multi‑sensory stimulation area, aesthetic care space and animal‑assisted activities.
• Work under the supervision of a qualified reference professional.

Required profile

• Holder of a DE AES or DE AMP diploma (aide‑soignant qualification also accepted).
• Experience or knowledge of autism spectrum disorders is highly valued.
• Demonstrated empathy, good listening skills and a strong team spirit.

Required skills

• Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) methodology.
• TEACCH approach.
• Picture Exchange Communication System (PECS).
