XBOM Project Leader – Digital Operations Excellence

About the role

Airbus Commercial Aircraft seeks an XBOM Project Leader to drive the vision and delivery of a digital XBOM platform. You will create a harmonised data repository for aircraft Bill of Materials across all programmes, supporting engineering, procurement and sustainability objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Define product vision and roadmap for XBOM assets (As‑Designed, As‑Prepared, As‑Built) in collaboration with cross‑functional stakeholders.
• Scope and execute complex data‑analytics projects using big‑data architectures to deliver tangible business value.
• Identify operational risk‑mitigation opportunities through analytical capabilities and product‑structure data.
• Measure deployment, adoption and continuous improvement of XBOM tools across an internal community of practice.
• Present project deliverables, business cases and strategic insights to domain experts, subcontractors and management.

Required profile

• Background in Engineering, Computer Science or Business Administration.
• Proven experience in multi‑functional project management (LBIP+ methodology) and team leadership.
• Fluency in English (mandatory); French or German is a plus.

Required skills

• Strong expertise in data‑analytics platforms such as Skywise.
• Experience with big‑data system architectures.
• Solid understanding of PLM engineering ecosystems and product definition.
• Knowledge of manufacturing systems, particularly SAP ARP.
