Vice President, Global HR & Communications

About the role

George Thomas Executive Search is partnering with a leading international cardiology device company to appoint a Vice President of Global HR & Communications. Reporting directly to the CEO and senior leadership team, you will shape and execute an integrated HR strategy that drives growth and cultivates a high‑performance, diverse, and inclusive culture worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement a global HR and talent management strategy aligned with business performance and expansion goals.
• Lead and inspire a high‑performing global HR team, collaborating closely with headquarters and regional units.
• Build and strengthen the global employer brand to attract and engage top commercial and functional talent.
• Oversee people strategies, including performance management, incentive policies, headcount planning, and resource efficiency across regions.
• Champion diversity, inclusion, and culture‑building initiatives to sustain a high‑performance environment.
• Provide strategic, data‑driven HR insights to the executive team and Board of Directors.
• Navigate complex stakeholder relationships within a matrixed, international organization.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Human Resources, Business Management, or a related field.
• 10+ years of senior HR leadership experience, with at least 5 years in the healthcare sector.
• Proven success leading global HR teams, preferably in medical devices, for organizations of 1,000+ employees.
• Fluent English communication skills.
