VDI Solution Architect

About the role

Airbus Defence and Space is seeking a dynamic VDI Solution Architect to join its digital team in Toulouse, France. You will work within the Product & Service Line of the IT Infrastructure organisation, designing, building and operating a complex network environment that spans on‑premise and cloud platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, design and integrate VDI, LAN, WAN, IAM, wireless, network security, internet access and load‑balancing components.
• Ensure high availability, optimal response times and automation across all solutions.
• Deliver solutions that meet defined SLA/OLA requirements and hand them over to Operations.
• Act as the subject‑matter expert for VDI and NetScaler technologies, providing guidance and proof‑of‑concepts.
• Maintain technical standards and contribute to future IT strategy development.

Required profile

• Proven experience designing and implementing VDI solutions in large‑scale environments.
• Strong knowledge of NetScaler (Citrix ADC) and related networking technologies.
• Ability to work autonomously, develop POCs and influence architectural decisions.
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate with cross‑functional teams.
