Trainers/Instructors for Digitalisation in Oil & Gas industry

About the role

We are looking for an experienced trainer to deliver a high‑impact Digitalisation for Oil & Gas course in Paris. The role involves designing and presenting a comprehensive program that addresses digital transformation across the entire oil and gas value chain. The trainer will work with senior executives and technical professionals, using real‑world case studies and interactive simulations.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver a training program covering digital strategy, IoT, sensor technologies, big data, AI, automation, and digital oilfield concepts for upstream, midstream, and downstream operations.
• Create engaging materials such as case studies, digital simulations, technology demonstrations, templates and roadmaps.
• Facilitate hands‑on sessions on digital twins, predictive maintenance, remote asset monitoring, data‑driven decision making and OT/IT cybersecurity.
• Guide participants through real‑world deployments, successes and failures, linking digital initiatives to safety, efficiency and ROI.
• Assess learning through interactive exercises, group discussions and scenario‑based assessments.
• Provide mentorship and strategic advice to align digital projects with organisational goals.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a trainer or facilitator in digital transformation, preferably within the oil & gas sector.
• Senior‑level background in a digital, technical or operational leadership role (e.g., Chief Digital Officer, Digital Transformation Lead, Operations Technology Manager, Data/Analytics Manager) in an oil & gas operator, service company or engineering firm.
• Deep understanding of the oil & gas value chain and the digital technologies reshaping it.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, able to explain complex technical concepts to senior non‑technical audiences.
• Ability to travel to or be based in Paris for the duration of the training program.
• Fluency in English.
