Technicien(ne) de Maintenance en Alternance

About the role

Join KONE as a Maintenance Technician apprentice, supporting customer satisfaction and ensuring equipment safety on site.

Key responsibilities

• Manage customer relationships and provide proactive on‑site communication (ETA, job performed, etc.).
• Perform accurate real‑time back‑reporting of work at equipment level to keep e‑Optimum and customer notifications up to date.
• Maintain excellent relationships with customers, contact persons and end‑users, applying an ambassador attitude.
• Ensure equipment safety and performance, and manage the site environment during service operations.
• Identify site risks, communicate them to the supervisor and take immediate action on high‑risk situations.
• Carry out unplanned service repairs after obtaining approval from the on‑site contact when not covered by contract.
• Execute planned maintenance, call‑outs and service repairs within schedule, quality standards and safety procedures.
• Plan workload in coordination with the service supervisor and raise sales leads when appropriate.
• Submit timesheets, manage proximity stock and request spare parts as needed.
• Maintain service tooling, van and instruments in safe and good condition.
• Provide feedback to improve products, methods and safety.

Required profile

• Familiarity with lift and associated technology and willingness to attend training.
• Ability to give training or coaching to nominated persons when required.
• Proactive communication with supervisors and regular updates on relevant information.
• Commitment to safe working practices and adherence to maintenance and safety instructions.
