Technical Account Manager

About the role

The Technical Account Manager leads cross‑functional teams to address complex customer needs in the healthcare sector, providing advanced technical support and acting as the primary liaison between clients and internal Philips teams. The role ensures system performance, resolves technical issues, and drives strategic improvements for long‑term customer value.

Key responsibilities

• Lead cross‑functional teams to develop and execute strategic plans that deepen customer relationships and deliver sustained value.
• Provide advanced technical guidance for moderate issues, ensuring uninterrupted operations of health‑IT systems.
• Review customer environments, monitor system health, and proactively address performance or reliability concerns.
• Consult with technical specialists and industry innovators to stay abreast of technology trends and recommend solution refinements.
• Formulate logistics optimisation suggestions, negotiate shipment plans, and coordinate with stakeholders to improve transport efficiency.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Health Science or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years (Bachelor) or 1 year (Master) experience in technical consulting, customer advocacy, post‑sales operations, account management or related fields.
• Strong knowledge of the healthcare/medical sector and health‑IT (Healthcare Information Systems/eHealth).
• Bilingual French (C2) and English (C1) proficiency.
