Tech Lead – Solutions

About the role

Pelico is building a manufacturing orchestration platform used by leading industrial operators. As a Tech Lead – Solutions you will own a solution surface, turning platform capabilities into customer‑facing workflows that prevent shortages, improve deliveries and resolve quality issues.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build and ship a complete solution surface (configuration, compute, UI widgets, connectors and AI agents) for real customers.
• Maintain a configuration‑first approach using Phoenix YAML, limiting custom code to when it adds clear value.
• Define specifications, enforce evaluation and review gates for any AI‑assisted components.
• Identify recurring patterns across accounts and convert them into reusable platform capabilities.
• Lead by example: write code, pair with squad members, mentor engineers and grow the team as impact expands.

Required profile

• Proven track record delivering end‑to‑end customer‑facing product software as a senior full‑stack engineer.
• Strong hands‑on experience with Kotlin/Java (backend) and/or TypeScript/React (frontend); ability to learn quickly.
• Product and customer judgment – scope to outcomes, cut to MVP, decide what not to build.
• Configuration‑first mindset, avoiding bespoke per‑customer forks.
• Leadership by example, actively coding alongside the team.
• Comfortable using AI tools to boost productivity and experience with AI‑assisted workflows.
