Tech Lead - Kotlin Tooling Team

About the role

We are looking for a Tech Lead to head the Kotlin Tooling Team at Kotzilla. You will drive the design, development and open‑source delivery of our Kotlin Multiplatform SDK and related tooling, working closely with the CTPO and the broader Koin community.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the end‑to‑end development of Kotzilla’s Kotlin Multiplatform SDK and compiler plugins (KSP/KCP).
• Design and maintain IntelliJ IDEA and Android Studio plugins that power Koin’s compile‑time features.
• Own the roadmap, prioritisation and delivery of SDK and open‑source workstreams, reporting progress to the CTPO.
• Participate in issue triage, pull‑request reviews, release management and community support for Koin core, Android, Compose and KMP modules.
• Ensure high testability, code quality and CI reliability across all projects.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading SDK or tooling projects in Kotlin.
• Deep knowledge of Kotlin, Android and Kotlin Multiplatform development.
• Strong background in open‑source contributions and community collaboration.
• Excellent architectural skills and ability to guide clients on dependency‑injection implementations.
• Self‑motivated with a track record of autonomous delivery and team scaling.
