Tax Compliance Officer – Corporate Tax & VAT

About the role

Airbus Commercial Aircraft is seeking a Tax Compliance Officer to join its Tax department in Elancourt (priority) or Blagnac, France. You will work within a dynamic team supporting the Airbus Defence and Space division, ensuring accurate tax reporting and contributing to the group’s financial strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Determine corporate tax results, prepare tax returns and manage routine filings (VAT, local taxes, IFU, DAS).
• Calculate corporate income tax (CIT) charges, handle payments/refunds and produce cash tax forecasts.
• Support accounting teams with deferred tax calculations using Longview and advise on tax treatment of invoices.
• Extract SAP data for transfer‑pricing documentation and maintain the Reliable Audit Trail (PAF / France 2026 e‑invoicing).
• Assist during tax audits by preparing responses for authorities and manage the team’s cost‑center purchase orders.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a tax accounting role within an accounting firm or corporate environment.
• Fluent French and strong English communication skills.
• Ability to explain technical tax matters to non‑specialists.

Required skills

• Proficiency with ERP systems – SAP experience is a plus.
• Experience using tax reporting tools such as Longview.
• Solid knowledge of corporate tax, VAT, and related French tax regulations.
