Systems Architect – Global Data Center IT Module

About the role

Eaton’s Global Data Center Segment is seeking a senior Systems Architect to lead the design of the IT module (white space) across high‑density power and cooling environments. The role focuses on modular, scalable solutions that accelerate compute capacity rollout while maintaining resilience and security.

Key responsibilities

• Define and drive the architecture of the data‑center IT module, including layout, modularization, integration strategy, and scalability.
• Integrate high‑density IT power, cooling interfaces, power distribution, containment, cable routing, and control systems at the pod level.
• Collaborate with customers and internal teams to co‑design repeatable, optimized reference designs.
• Stay abreast of market trends, innovate solutions, and translate client requirements into actionable designs.
• Build relationships with account decision‑makers and ensure smooth hand‑over to global product lines and business units.

Required profile

• Senior technical leader with extensive experience in data‑center architecture and system integration.
• Proven ability to develop modular, scalable designs for high‑density IT environments.
• Strong understanding of client development and buying processes.
• Excellent communication skills for stakeholder engagement and co‑design activities.
